"This is the second stay for my family at Brookside. What we enjoy most is having access to 370+ acres which includes fish ponds and paths for meandering. There's a nearby stream and waterfall to explore, plus easy access to the D&L trail for walking or biking. Also, Hickory Run State Park is close by for hiking. Overall, a very relaxing place to escape!"

"The lake was nice! We had a great time at the cabin. It was fairly clean and equipped with most thing that you might need. I would probably rate it a perfect score if those few things were better: The address given took us to the wrong place (Using Google Map). But we figured it out with the extra directions given by the owner. Inside of the cabin was fairly clean but the front deck( grill area) and the grill could have used a little clean up."

"This property was exactly what we were looking for! We were going to a concert in Jim Thorpe and doing some other activities in the area. The property has plenty of room to do anything. We were able to put the pack and play for the baby in the bedroom and still have plenty of room for everything else. I would only say one negative thing, and it's not even negative. "My dad and I went to an event at a nearby offroad and stayed here. The place was right across from a farm with a great view of a local forest. It was quiet and clean and they included a nice welcome basket along with some toiletries in case you forgot something. We had a little trouble with the Internet at first but the owner quickly took care of it. They were very communicative and apologetic.
