"I could not find a better location for the hotel. It is located next door to the train and bus station, one block from my travel agency and 2 blocks from the commerce. The people from the hotel were friendly and help us with directions. The city is amazing and I would love to be able to come back. "

"Wonderful stay at Glenlo Abbey! The grounds and hotel are beautiful. We were upgraded to a one bedroom Lodge room. Access to the living room, kitchen and laundry were a bonus. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff here are wonderful, friendly, informative and attentive. The Palmer restaurant is very nice and the food delicious. A ride into the city center of Galway was about ten minutes. We couldn’t have had a better stay. "

"We loved the Twelve and staying just outside Galway. The Twelve has great restaurant and bar options, big rooms and helpful staff. We ate in both the gastropub and the fancy restaurant and both were excellent. Breakfasts were also wonderful. We really enjoyed coming back every night and having a great place to stay"

"This is a great hotel with absolutely lovely staff! The location was absolutely fantastic as well, located right in the middle of some of the best night life in Galway. The only thing I will warn is that it can be loud outside depending on what room you are in! We had a great view of Quay’s but sometimes took a few minutes extra to fall asleep due to the night life outside. However, it’s totally worth it and if you have the opportunity to stay, please do! It’s a great hotel in a great location. The people made it even better :)"

"The best thing about Galway Bay Hotel is the staff. Absolutely the best hotel staff we had on our trip around Ireland - friendly, professional, and genuine. Although they are right beside an amusement park, the windows are excellent and almost no noise came in. Very comfortable and very walkable into Galway. "
