"The property is nice with children to walk around, play and see animals. Unfortunately when we were there the SPA and Sauna were closed. It will be nice if the property posts the operation hours for sauna and SPA. There is also a small museum of tractors on side. You need to ask at the reception for them to open the door."

"In such high altitude, with the vanishing winter and melting snow, there are really a lot to explore in oberhof. The stay at the hotel was excellent and authentic. The breakfast has many variations everyday, the fruits and vegetables were really very fresh. The staffs were well behaved and have showed good hospitality. "Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wird nur durch viele Einschränkungen erreicht. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, keine Extras wie Wasser oder Safe. Es gibt keinen regelmäßigen Zimmerservice. Die Rezeptionsdame geht schon 19.30 Uhr statt 20 Uhr. Die Treppen sind abgenutzt und schmutzig. Die Kinder rennen lärmend durch den Speisesaal. Das Essen wird nicht nachgefüllt. Beim Frühstück jeden Tag Rührei aus Eipulver, wenig Obst, 4 Apfelsinen für 100 Gäste. In der Sauna zu wenig Liegen. Das Tauchbecken ist...

"Clean spacious room, driving up the mountain to get there at night (was also really foggy) was a little precarious. We arrived late evening so the restaurant was no longer open and there is no place close by to get snacks or anything. Had drinks in the bar area which were really good but having a pizza oven or something to heat up or make some appetizers would have really made it better. Staff were very friendly"
