Reception staff was very helpful and kind, recommending places and restaurants. Issues with cleanliness however (found 1 cockroach in the bathroom). Though cleaning was indicated as daily, it was clearly not done properly (below toilet seat not cleaned, hairs found in the bathtub, bedsheets not changed with stains, complimentary instant coffee and tea were not refilled). The air conditioning was forcefully turned off and we had to open the window. This resulted in me and my partner catching a very bad cough from day 2, and still ongoing. Breakfast was simple but got the job done.

The property’s location is very convenient, you can walk to La Familia Sagrada and is close to the subway, class to many restaurants, markets and is a safe area. The staff is friendly. Julia, the day receptionist was exeptional, very kind and helpful. I would go again at this hotel. PS. The breakfast was good.

A really, good value property. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff were helpful and friendly. The lockers for leaving luggage were useful but bear in mind that we only had backpacks not suitcases.

Excellent location : most of main attractions within walking distance. I didn't like much breakfast : little variation of salads & vegetables, luck of yogurts. Black tea wasent suitable to drink with milk.

Loved my stay at Aranea. It is the best place to be location wise in Barcelona.. super close to all the attractions. The staff members were incredibly friendly. Special shoutout to Salvatorre and Joan.. who were so friendly and helpful throughout. Would love to go back over and over again.

The property was well situated & more than adequate for people on the move It would be nice if they had an area for cards or lounging but it is either your room or non protected rooftop No bus service on route but a few blocks away you can catch transportation Plenty of restaurants with walking distance Very safe neighborhood We would definitely recommend. Would be nice if they could accommodate overseas travelers with an earlier check-in than 3pm ( we arrived at 9am) They do have storage lockers which was helpful... for a charge Overall ... we would definitely stay there again! Daytime desk clerk extremely helpful & nice 😊

A pleasant stay
Our stay at Hotel Best Aranea was generally pleasant, with a few noteworthy aspects to consider. The reception staff left a positive impression, offering a warm and friendly welcome. However, we found the breakfast experience to be somewhat lacking in friendliness compared to the reception team. The room was comfortable and clean. Nonetheless, it’s worth mentioning that the hotel appears to be showing signs of wear and tear, such as squeaky floors in the room, which might require some attention. During our stay, we encountered an unusual situation with the maid service. On the second day, we were surprised to find no shower towels left in our room. While towels were subsequently provided in the following days, we noticed a difference in their size, with one being considerably smaller than the other. The breakfast experience could also be improved. It appeared that only two staff members were responsible for managing the breakfast service, which occasionally led to delays and limited assistance for guests. Additionally, it would be beneficial for the hotel to offer a yogurt option that does not contain bovine gelatine, as this may be a concern for some guests with dietary preferences or restrictions. In conclusion, Hotel Best Aranea offers a generally pleasant stay with a friendly reception staff and comfortable, clean rooms. However, addressing the maintenance issues and refining the breakfast service, including the yogurt options, would enhance the overall guest experience.

Enjoyable Stay
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and always enjoyed my stay. The staff are friendly and so helpful. A number of the local attractions are close by, so you can enjoy a pleasant stroll. There are also a number of supermarkets and restaurants within a short distance from the hotel as well.

Everything was good you could walk pretty much anywhere but wished I was closer to a metro station … hotel is decent what you pay is what you get, they have better hotels near by but price would almost double.

Great little hotel in Barcelona with easy access to Metro stations (Tetuan & Monumental). A large supermarket round the corner was very handy and plenty of tapas bars to choose from. Rooms were compact but a little dated but a great view overlooking the main junction. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Highly recommend. Viva Barcelona!

Domingo in reception was very helpful and friendly. The hotel Wi-Fi was weak in the mornings when presumably many people were trying to use it. Hotel walkable from Autobus Nord coach terminal and Place de la Catalyuna (near Las Ramblas) and is also close to Girona and Monumental metro stations.

Had a wonderful experience, from check-in to check-out, Yuliia the front desk clerk was very nice and very kind, they make you feel welcome at the hotel. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here, location-wise most things are very close by to walk. Bus and Metro station around the corner. My solo room was quiet, I did have a very nice sleep...
