Staff were helpful. They were quick to respond to my needs. They also kept my room clean when I went on day trips. I also had help from a staff when I lost my card key. I was partying late until 5 AM but I showed her my ID and told her my room number and got another card key. Thanks !!

Good time in Barcelona
Location was perfect near train station,and metro. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

CONSTRUCTION ALERT! The web page says the restaurant and bar are under construction. The whole hotel except foors 1 to 8 are. And it seems as though they will be for a year. My room had a temporary elevator outside the window. Work starts at 7am. Traffic from the train station starts at 5am. Buses, cars, motorcycles etc all rev up to the stop light in front then brake at the light and rev up again. Other guests also slam heavy doors atvall hours. The real reason to stay here is the hope of a view. Half the hotel is backed by a ten story hotel. No views possible currently. The other side has some views. They also dont turn the rooms over as advetised. I got in at 230 but the family before me was told to wait until 330. The maids didnt clean until 4pm. The only reason they didnt get a 1 is that my room was big. Not sure what the new rooms will look like. Id avoid until construction is finished or rates are below 100. Or if you dont hear well or dont need sleep. The metro is good enough that you dont have to be near the station if that is a consideration. Especially if you buy thev8e unlimited ticket. Which you should do anyway. Especially if using metro from the airport.

The hotel is under construction so not all facilities are available and it can be loud at times. The staff are great and will do anything they can to help. The rooms are bright and very clean and it is a nice space.

You registered in a small area that lead to a basement parking garage enterece - seemed very weird for a 4+ hotel The hotel was remodeling the lobby and bar - restaurant area - but Hotels.com should have had that information

Don’t be fooled by the photos..
There were some noisy construction going on in the hotel. It was in bad location far away from everything. It was facing Barcelona main train station (very bad view). The price was way too high given the location and the condition of the hotel

The locations and bed were really comfortable but we had a hard time falling asleep since we couldn’t control the AC ourselves. The staff has the audacity to tell us to open the windows. Because we’d love to get woken up early from the outside noise? What is the point of having a thermostat you can supposedly ‘control’ if it’s really controlled by the outside temperature?

A disappointing experience
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times in the last seven years. On arrival I was surprise to find that it's refurbishment to a five star hotel meant that the present bar and restaurant resembled a factory canteen. The lift had a layer of dust and the corridors resembled building site pathways. I only enjoyed my stay when I ate out of the hotel and had a drink in a local bar.

The locality of the hotel is very good as the central train station and subway metro are in close proximity. Beside, the supermarket and restaurants are also next it. Breakfast spread is also very good. The hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation.

We came over for a few days to watch Manchester United in the quarter finals against Barcelona.This hotel we stayed at was wonderful We had a panoramic view and could see the stadium from our window.The bedroom floor was marble as well as all the bathroom.The bathroom itself was as big as a hotel room.With double sinks and seprate shower and bath.The room itself was spotless

The hotel was nice but under a remodel project. Rooms were clean, staff was very accommodating and very helpful. Hotel is right next to the train station and metro which was convenient. Overall a very nice hotel.

I wish I would have known that the hotel was under major construction. The exterior is horrific. I thought it had a rooftop restaurant, I was told it’s closed. The room is nothing like the photo shown. Too much furniture for a room that size. The beds are not comfortable at all. Very disappointed. This hotel isn’t a 4 star.

Great hotel. Clean, modern, friendly staff and perfect location to explore the city. Two minor niggles. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and a short set of steps into the lobby ( we had a 1 year old in a push chair ) An access lift is available for wheelchair users

We stayed 4nights and requested for a room facing the Font Montjuic, it was confirmed upon checking in that our room was what we had requested, but no, the room we checked into was on the opposite side. When we asked the reception about this, they said they were full and nothing they could do but for us to check back every day for a change of room. No apologies given. Unfortunately, our family fell ill after the first night so we didn't ask for the change. The most horrible incident was on our 3rd day evening when our son puked on his cot sheets. We called housekeeping to change the sheets and a lady came, handed us a stack of new sheets, smiled and said goodbye. WHAT?!! We were expected to change the sheets ourselves and that was horrendous.

Service was great. Going through a transition now to another hotel name. A lot of construction going on. Top floor bar an restaurant closed because of the construction. Great location next to Barcelona Sants train station

So-So
I stayed last year and my room was spectacular... so I wanted to come back this year. But this year my room was not so good. Very worn. Water stains on ceiling, and the shower was broken to the point where water sprayed all over. They came and fixed it while I was out, but I don’t know how whoever last cleaned it could have missed the fact that the hose was destroyed. Bed was only so-so. Rooms are large. Personnel very friendly and attentive.

This hotel is amazing located right next to Sants train station in a safe area of Barcelona, the restuarant has excellent food and service the rooms are huge with great views the bathrooms was amazing with a large soaking tub and seperate shower. There were loads of ammenities.
