"We stayed here for two nights, the room and bathroom were superb, facilities were excellent and just a short drive to Cognac. Very quiet at night, we enjoyed a very good nights sleep. Beautiful surroundings, well worth a visit. The owners were very helpful and friendly, helping with restaurant bookings and local information. Parking is available on site. "

"Hard to find the first time, but ideally located overall. Towns and champagne tour route nearby. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet. We did not self-cater but with a boulangerie a short walk it would have been easy. We were only in for a short stay (attending a wedding) but would definitely stay again if we were to revisit the region."

Christine (the owner) could not have been more helpful, she was genuinely concerned about making sure everything was OK and you were having a good time - which I was! Le cadre est agréable et reposant en pleine campagne avec son jardin paysagé et la piscine. J'ai apprécié la décoration de la maison, et le fait que cette dernière dispose de tout le nécessaire pour que l'on se sente comme chez soi. Florence et Jérôme mettent un point d'honneur à cela et c'est vraiment un plus. Merci...

"The hotel islocated in an old abbey but the inside apartments are modern, comfortable and clean. The kitchen and supplies are perfect for a simple meal and breakfast to save money if on a budget. The bathroom was spacious for European standards and the bed very comfortable. "

"We stayed for a night. The exterior looks a bit rundown but the apartments are great. Everything works, it’s well equipped and clean. There’s also an elevator which is a major plus. Daily continental breakfast for 11 euros - honestly it’s too expensive for what they serve. You have to bring down your trash upon check out and clean the kitchen if you used it. Overall a nice stay."

"We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....
