"Great location right on ocean cliffs of Algarve. Eat at the resort or better yet walk 10 minutes into town for an abundant choice of restaurants. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, robes and slippers for in room comfort or to walk to the pools (outdoor or indoor). Buffet breakfast more than amazing. Staff friendly and helpful"

"Such a convenient location with wonderful staff! They provide tea, kettle, mini fridge, and complimentary breakfast which is a great bonus. The hotel

is not crowded and clean. It's walkable to the beach. Only comment to keep it from a perfect review is that a couple of the pillowcases and bedsheet had stains. They were nice enough to hold on to our baggage after checkout so we didn't have to lug around our baggage while we did couple activities. Overall would recommend! "

"This was one of our favorite places that we stayed in Portugal. Placid Village was located in a quiet area, but only a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and beaches in town. Going back to the hotel was an uphill walk, but not too bad if you are in decent shape. In the evening we did Uber back. Did not cost much at all to Uber.
