Great Stay at the Wilderness

We booked a 1 bedroom condo and they kindly upgraded us to a 2 bedroom condo. The condo was spacious, clean and quiet! The view off the balcony was lovely. A long walk to the indoor waterparks but glad there was a skywalk to stay indoors on the walk. Plenty to do at the resort. The only downfall was the very pushy Wyndham sales people at check in, we had to say "no thank you" about 5 times for them to stop asking us to sit through a Timeshare presentation. They tried bribing us several ways after we clearly stated we don't want to spend our vacation in a meeting room, and it was uncomfortable. I'd hesitate to rebook the Wyndham condos at the resort because of this.

There's really no way for the owner to know this...

This was my second time going through VRBO to stay on this property. Last year was AMAZING and 100% perfect. This year...way less so. But I'm not blaming the VRBO owners. So I'm not knocking your 5 star rating. The dishwasher didn't work and I had to call the front desk for that. No worries, that was a small thing. HOWEVER, the Wilderness has a new outdoor light and music show that went on EVERY SINGLE NIGHT FOR FOUR HOURS. That's four hours of music and people outside yelling and cheering. Every. Single. Night. Granted, the hours were from 5-9PM, so not late. I don't go to the Dells in November for the loud family fun. I go because it's not loud. Given the proximity of my room to the place where this event was, it was like living next door to neighbors who put on a 4 hour concert every night. Even with my windows shut and the TV on, I could hear everything. This is NOT the fault of VRBO or the owners of the room. This is on The Wilderness Resort and Club Wyndham for not realizing that not everyone is going to appreciate that kind of noise every NIGHT for four hours a night. Also, the check in process was dreadful. I was the only one checking in and it still took half an hour. To get my wristband for the water park I had to go to a second room, where I stood by myself for twenty minutes until someone got there at the start of her shift. Not great. I want to come back next year, I love the VRBO owners and the property. But not if it means a concert every night.

Property was great !

We loved the property but we had issues with the people who were upstairs from us. They flooded our bathroom the first night and then we had to call the office twice because of kids jumping and running around after 11pm upstairs and it was so loud we could not fall asleep.

Great place to stay!

We love the dells and staying at glacier canyon was so much fun. The place is very clean. Has everything you need in the kitchen. Washer and dryer were nice to have after the water park.

Highly Recommend!

This property was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Dishes, pots/pans. A washer dryer which was so great to wash our swimwear between pool trips. 10/10 would recommend bringing your family here. We will be coming back!
