"Wasn’t mentioned it was sharing kitchen. Bathroom was so dirty to use. White basin, commode and shower all turned to yellowish. Kitchen was a mess. Dirty utilities all over the place. People from other rooms were using living sofa wearing shirtless clothes. Terrible experience. I didn’t even stay that place for more than 2days however i booked for 15days, requested owner to atleast refund me for a week. She denied. "

4/10 Poor

"We were in a room close to the open air atrium and there was a really loud live band until 12pm. Music was good but no way we were getting any sleep until they stopped at nearly midnight! Don’t stay on a Saturday night!"

Lakeside Hotel and Conference Centre

"It was a pleasant experience at the Lakeside hotel. The room was spacious and valet with all the amenities at easy reach. There was a rattly mixer at the basin, which the staff were more than happy to attend to, but I told them that they can do so after my stay. Similarly, there were spots on the pillows but the pillows were not smelly or unpleasant to sleep on. Clean crisp sheets and a front room area for wet items. During the stormy season. Beautiful view out of the bedroom with occasional visits from the Kookaburras. The reception staff and housekeeping were warm, receptive and polite. Coffee in the lobby is a wonderful touch. It is a lovely stay within the lush greenery. Will stay at again."

"Changes that were made to the booking and confirmed were not transferred to hotel reception so at one point there was suggestion there was no room for us. An offer was made if I would accept 2 single rooms. This was unacceptable with 2 young children. Eventually a new room was found however, even though it wasn't the room I had booked and paid for, a refund of any amount was not offered. There were only 2 towels in the room so two of us had to share a towel. Overall a very stressful check in and such a shame as my last experience was flawless."

"Rooms are tired and need a refresh. Bathroom has shower within a bath, difficult to step over onto slippery floor even using a mat. All furniture is soiled and carpet well worn. Water pressure is poor. Other guests smoking on their balconies. Spoke to management weren’t really interested. Parking charged at additional cost. Won’t be staying again."
