The Space:

Step into the rustic charm of the Highland Cottage, a cozy retreat defined by its exposed stone walls and warm wood beams. This space is designed for connection and relaxation, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests.



The main living area includes:

A cozy wood-burning fireplace for relaxing evenings

A smart TV for streaming your favorite movies

A fully equipped kitchen, ready for you to prepare delicious meals

An adjacent dining table and a dedicated bar area



Sleeping arrangements are provided across three comfortable bedrooms:

Primary Bedroom: 1 Queen Bed (with direct access to the full bathroom)

Second Bedroom: 1 Full Bed

Third Bedroom: 2 Twin Beds



Guest Access:

Guests will have exclusive and private access to the entire Highland Cottage for the duration of their stay. You are also welcome to enjoy the shared central courtyard, which features a fire pit and offers beautiful views of Grandfather Mountain. Please be aware that Chateau Dumont is a unique property comprised of three distinct cottages that surround this single, shared courtyard.

For those flying in, the closest major airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), approximately a 2.5-hour drive away. Alternatively, Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is about 1.5 hours away. Local taxi and ride-sharing services are available, but availability may be limited. Perfect location for a family wanting to ski/snowboard

We had a wonderful time! Our family of 6 was very cozy in this sweet property. Everything you’d need to make a meal. Property management was easy to communicate with. Property was clean, orderly and ideal for active family wanting to enjoy the outdoors.
