We loved staying here. It's so convenient to skiing and everything nearby. Easy to get to, very clean and comfortable. The view is amazing. Everything wed hoped for and more. Will definitely be back!

Eric and Chrissy have a very beautiful place. It is very convenient to banner elk and Boone. It was very easy to communicate with the host. We loved being able to go to the gym and use the pool sauna and hot tub. We enjoyed eating at the banner elk Cafe and Lodge and also at stonewalls everything was delicious. Definitely will want to stay in the same area whenever we go back.

We enjoyed our stay at “Ski Dog”! Would recommend it to any couple. The owner was very quick to respond. I would be a little bit more descriptive of Oma’s Meadow slope, isn’t for beginners. But very beautiful place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy access to Sugar mountain

The property was as described, with easy access to Sugar Mountain Resort, which was exactly what we were looking for. It has all the essentials and is cozy. While it might be a bit of a challenge for more than two people, that’s to be expected for a studio.

The condo was very clean and accommodating. The only shortfall was only 4 coffee pods and no sweetener and fireplace was locked so we could not use it.

Cozy condo with fabulous views

The condo was very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and tidily organized when we arrived. Although it's small, it is surprisingly roomy because of excellent shelf and other spaces. The wonderful little fireplace makes the place very cozy. It's conveniently close to the slopes, and I enjoyed skiing eevery day, while my husband, who doesn't ski, enjoyed reading in front of the fire and using the condo's workout room. The host was very gracious and prompt in answering any questions that popped up during our visit. We will definitely be back during the next ski season.

Daughters Birthday

My daughter picked mountains for her birthday. I found this beautiful condo and immediately knew this was the place! It didn’t disappoint upon arrival. The scenery was exquisite with snow caps that danced upon the trees. This quaint condo had everything we needed and was very welcoming. Check in and out was so easy. The hosts responded quickly with any questions or concerns. The view BREATHTAKING! I will definitely be booking again in the future. Was the first time ever visiting Sugar Mountain but it will be a family tradition from here on out!

Great Location, Amenities and Property, Challenged by Cigarette Smoke Smell

The property was well appointed, accurate to pictures and in a great location. We very much enjoyed our trip and the included Club House was perfect for bad weather days or relaxing in the hot tub after skiing. Given the walk to the slopes (not too long), I would not quite call this “ski in - ski out”, especially with young children but it is close. I knocked a star off because of this but also because of the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the unit that permeated our clothes. I suspect this is due to previous users/renters of the unit, given the smoke detectors were also removed. I would suggest the cleaning crew be trained to identify smoke detectors removed and remediation of smoke smell. Overall, this is a great property in a great location.
