Good Getaway
Enjoyed a nice weekend in the mountains at this unit. Other than some hair in the shower from the previous occupant, the condo was very clean upon arrival. Unit size was just right for my wife and I. Was a challenge to find at night with no streetlights at a critical turn, but we did eventually find it. Would stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and easy access to Land of Oz, Banner Elk and Linnville
The place is located on Sugar Mountain. Very short drive to Banner Elk for breakfast and other restaurants. Bed is comfy. Had trouble connecting to wireless WiFi. Small, but cozy. Has nice deck looking into woods. Had a little trouble finding building G in the dark because you have to actually drive past the address on map to the next road.

Great place.
Clean, functional and related. And having stayed in multiple condos in the same complex, it’s the only one you’ll be allowed to use the fire place. Need I say more?

Awful first time Experience with Vacasa.
Checking in and getting access was upsetting and made very difficult for us.
The property was run down outside and inside. Not very clean stove top was greasy clumps of hair under the couch. Something splattered on the baseboards in the bathroom. Deck looked like it should be condemned. Pictures are deceiving of this property does not show true scope of size or condition. We were kept up all night by a barking dog and bumping noises in the unit above us. We checked out a day early and came home.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
I was not happy with this rental at all. When we first arrived I noticed the kitchen was greasy and sticky. The stove looked like it hadn’t been cleaned good for a while, the kitchen cabinets/ knobs were grimy and sticky. The list goes on and on with problems at this condo. The condo as a whole was not clean at all compared to all the other Vrbo rentals I’ve stayed at. Then we found out the toilet was clogged. We contacted Vacasa and a maintenance man was sent. He came twice in 2 days but he was never able to get it working properly. I called Vacasa and requested we be relocated. We were never moved and ended up running to the local gas station to use the restroom for the rest of our stay. I was very disappointed in Vacasa and their customer treatment. I will never again rent from Vacasa and recommend you thinking twice about renting from them. In the end I was refunded 20 a day which in my eyes doesn’t even begin to cover the lack of consideration I was given.
We stayed here during a weekend in the fall and this cabin was cute and cozy. We went to an Oktoberfest festival hosted at Sugar Mtn Ski Resort. If you are planning to go to the ski resort, this cabin is not walking distance (in my opinion). We were under the impression that it was but still had to drive. The fireplace was wonderful.
Comfortable and cozy for 2. A little small for more than 2. My only complaint is that we only got 2 towels but we were there 3 nights so I had to go to Walmart and buy more towels and toilet paper.

Down neighbor problematic
We checked in late and just in 20 minutes we had the police in the door. We weren’t even hearing music nor drinking, just downloading the bags. So intolerant the apartment was pretty ok.

Wonderful weekend stay!
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay here for the weekend. It was a beautiful area, peaceful and very quite. The condo was located very close to food, bars, grocery store and many other amenities. Would definitely stay here again and we made last minute reservations with no problems!!! I would ask that management look at the deck (why I only gave 4 stars)

Cute, accommodating
Had a lot of the amenities we wanted, good location. Doesn’t have a dryer so if you have wet clothes be prepared to drape them. Enough space for what we needed but the sofa sleeper is broken. Had to pull the mattress out and sleep on the floor, which worked well enough.

Nice little getaway
My wife and I spent a week in this condo and found it to be just the kind of place we were looking for. Although you can't see the mountains because this condo is down in the trees, it does have a nice little deck where you can sit outdoors and enjoy the nice mountain air. (I do worry about how much longer that deck will last; it's leaning quite a bit to one side.)
The bed was comfortable and the condo had just about everything we needed. The kitchen was slim on some items (most notably cereal bowls), and we had to buy coffee filters. Overall, it was a nice place at the right price.
