The home was absolutely gorgeous and the view was amazing. We loved that it was also decorated for the holidays. Our party of 14 was very comfortable here. The beds were really comfortable and having 5.5 baths was great! The only negative I would give for this rental was the communication with the host. We were given a number to text in order to address any concerns and there was no response to the texts. They did respond via email but it was not always as timely as I would prefer. The house was not ready at check in due to weather which is entirely understandable but I feel we should’ve received a personal phone call to this effect, not a last minute email after we already arrived at the home (albeit 30 minutes early). The host was gracious and followed through with a refund for the late check in, however. When all is said and done I would still recommend this property for its beauty, comfort and fun - just be sure to stay on top of communication with the host. The kitchen had everything we needed including air fryer, rice cooker and crockpot in addition to the expected typical appliances. The location was lovely and we enjoyed skiing sugar mountain, tubing and grandfather mountain, as well as the game room, hot tub and games and puzzles available. The Eagles nest winery was closed the day we went to try it and we didn’t get back there but that seemed like a nice perk. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!
Steps to the fire pit, lots of snow when we arrived!
