Beech Mountain Resort is just 2 miles away, offering skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and summer mountain biking. The Land of Oz theme park is right nearby and open seasonally for a magical family experience.
Downtown Banner Elk is about 15 minutes away with restaurants, breweries, wineries, and the beloved Apple Hill Farm. Sugar Mountain Resort is just 20 minutes away, and Grandfather Mountain—with its famous Mile High Swinging Bridge—is about a 30-minute drive.

Getting Around:
