This condo sits at the base of Sugar Mountain just off the Easy Street Run. It is a true ski-in/ski-out location as you can walk down the steps off the deck and you are just steps from the slopes. It is a great location for non-skiers to sit on the back deck and watch the skiers go by, or snuggle up around the gas fireplace. Utilize the fully equipped kitchen or visit one of the many local restaurants nearby. In the summer, enjoy walking access to the mountain bike trails, tennis courts and golf course. Enjoy the sounds of the creek as you relax on the covered deck, or relax inside and enjoy the central air-conditioning.

Sugar Mountain Resort is just steps away from this condo, where in addition to skiing you'll find an outdoor skating rink and snow tubing. In the Summer and Fall there are mountain bike trails, tennis courts and a full golf course. Sight-seeing and outdoor activities are plentiful in this area as well, such as Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, white water rafting, ziplining and gem mining!

Very homey and comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with what you need to cook in. Two styles of coffee makers, nice touch! Beds were comfortable. Love watching the people on the slopes from the kitchen or living room. Would definitely stay again!

The location was great, the condo was great and had everything you needed. It is a little difficult to load/unload since this is the bottom unit but we wanted to be able to walk off our back deck on hit the slopes

Great location, poor customer service

Beautiful property and location. We have been staying in Bee Branch units for 20 years and have stayed at this property a few times in the past. Unfortunately, the management team is severely lacking and hard to get in touch with. Problems were not resolved while we were there and it was unfortunate as we loved the house itself and the location is perfect.

When we checked in we noticed right away there were toenails on the living room table. We then later noticed 2 condom wrappers underneath the edge of the bed. Other than that the area was fantastic. Perfect spot from stores and scenic activities.

Perfect spot for family vacation

We just did a weekday vacation here and LOVED IT! The view is breathtaking and condo is very well kept. We look forward to booking next year and inviting more family/friends to also book the bee 2 adjoining as this year was a trial run of this being an annual trip we make.

Perfect slope side condo

This was our third year staying here and we have stayed at others before that didn’t match this rental. We love the upgrades including a new deck and a comfy couch. We love the open floor plan and the modern kitchen that has always had everything we needed. Plus a few extras (Crock pot, electric griddle, a box fan, small heaters for each room, nice bonus)The view of the easy street slope is the best. We will book again next year.

Terrible experience, don’t stay here

No hot water in the condo for first 1.5 days of our trip. I called the call center +10 times and every time got the same response. The local management team is a joke. They never reached out to talk to me and the hot water only got fixed because I kept calling the call center. We couldn’t shower for the first 1.5 days. I would consider this a necessity and unacceptable that it was not fixed sooner. The stairs were not shoveled until the day we left, so they were covered in snow the entire time making it extremely difficult and dangerous to walk down. The parking lot was barely maintained and we actually paid a plow truck to clear the road. The location of the condo is great but not worth the hassle of dealing with local management to resolve problems during our stay.

Great condo!

Lovely! Nicely updated, comfy beds, great kitchen. Your own private steps off the porch down to the Easy Street slope. Despite other issues, it was a great spot. We had an issue with the heat and a leak under the sink the first night, and Brian, the local maintenance guy, was very kind and helpful the next day. However, the water went out the second full day, and Vacasa customer service was absolutely terrible. We reported the issue multiple times, and the rep told me they would contact the local office, and when I called again four hours later, another rep told me no ticket had been created and no contact had been made with the managers. He said he would call me back with more information, and he never did, neither did the local office. We finally found out from neighbors that the water was out in the whole building due to the pipes being repaired, but we didn’t get any info at all from Vacasa or the local managers. Water was out for 6 hours, and we had no idea if/when it was going to come back on for cooking, cleaning, flushing toilets, etc. Y’all really dropped the ball.

The nice look is deceiving

The view is wonderful, and the condo at first is very nice looking (decor, coloring, materials). The gas fireplace was the reason we rented the condo. After 3 calls and 2 visits from the maintenance staff, the fireplace was ruled unusable. So very disappointing. No refunds provided. The dirty dishes in the dishwasher was surprising, coupled with the mold/mildew in both showers. A bottle of tilex would be genius for the cleaning crew. The couch seems broken as you couldn’t sit straight on any seat.

Fantastic unit on the slopes

What a great updated unit right on the slopes! The walk down the hill to Easy Street slope is very doable even for families. The updated unit has sleeping space for a big family, well stocked kitchen, and decent room in the bathrooms. We found a few new games to play and has tons of books if you aren’t planning to ski/be outdoors. Great unit!!!
