My family booked for a quick weekend getaway and we all enjoyed our experience very much. The cabin was clean and very cozy, with lots of outdoor patio space to relax and absorb the peace and tranquility that nature provides. The cabin was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We all agreed that we will be back someday!
We stayed to celebrate a friend’s birthday along with the summer concert series. The cabin was perfect location! Our dogs loved the closed in porch. The house did feel a little musty as the jacuzzi is in the basement (which we didn’t use), I would recommend taking off the doors on the fridge and coffee station, they were a small nuisance. Overall absolutely a wonderful stay!
Our family gets together every summer in the North Carolina mountains and we've stayed in places from Brevard to Boone. This was our second stay at Beech Mountain. This house was cozy and comfortable but a bit small for our growing-up teens/preteen. It had all the necessary amenities and several of us were very pleased with the tea/coffee nook. We loved the back deck...sitting outside in the mornings and relaxing by the fire in the evenings. Our only difficulty with the house was the steep/narrow driveway that made it hard for for us to easily drive our van in and out.
Wonderful experience! The host is very responsive and helpful with anything you may need, the cabin is beautiful and cozy with everything you need and the surrounding area is breathtaking! We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to visit again!
This cabin was a great place. The host was responsive and the entire process went great. The house was clean and perfectly situated close to shops and restaurants on top of Beech Mt. while also far enough away to feel secluded and enjoy the quiet nature.
House is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. Love the outdoor movie projector. The hot tub is a nice size and clean. Excellent communication with the owner. We had a wonderful time.
My family and I booked this house for our annual family vacation and I’m glad we did! The check in process was super easy, all information was sent to me well before we arrived. The house was cozy and just as pictured. We enjoyed using the fire pit and watching the deer in the morning. The driveway was a little tricky to get in and out of, but to be expected for a home in the mountains. Overall we enjoyed our time there and would book this rental again.
The property was amazing. The beds are comfortable. The hot tub was a bonus after a day of skiing. Truly a gem of a location. Highly suggested though a car with four wheel drive or all wheel during the winter months as suggested. It’s the mountains and it snows nothing to be done about it.

Very nice house. No AC but that was our fault. It was listed no AC. Smaller than expected but it fit our needs.
Cute place. The hot tub room was pretty dated and there is a hatch going to under the deck that is poorly secured. It seemed kind of sketch. A lot of the light switches are in odd places but it’s an older home so it wasn’t a huge deal. We were gone most of the weekend. The owner was nice and responsive. Super close to the resort and all the beech mountain spots.. there’s even a cute little overlook trail down the road. Pretty pleased for the price.
Property was in quiet deer filled neighborhood. We had lots of upfront interaction with the local animals 😁..host made firewood readily available .kitchen well stocked and plenty of fresh mountain air
The house was smaller than I thought but was large enough to accommodate the group we took. The hot tub never got hot and the water pressure was bad, and with are large group we ran out of hot water. but, The house was nice and had everything we needed. could of used more towels but the deer that came up to the back porch was amazing! The lady owner was amazing also!
We had 3 people that were 70 years old. The steps both inside and out were challenging. The interior was much smaller than the pictures indicated. The house is very dark (paneling) and there is a musty smell due to the hot tub being in the basement. Even though we encountered these few issues we did enjoy our stay. The back deck is the biggest asset.
Over all the house is adorable but needs some serious love. The desk to the front door is very rickety to the point where you felt unsafe climbing the stairs. When you walk in the door you are greeted with a very strong odor. A mix of must, dust and old. The musty smell is from the hot tub in the basement. The dust well the house is very dusty, dust webs everywhere. We turned on the ceiling fan in the living room and it looked like it was snowing. The light bulbs to the fan when we turned the lights on you saw dust webs. Every door had dust creeping over. The old I believe is from the wood paneling. Also there were a lot of bugs one in particular - camel cricket. Though not anything to worry about more just annoying. Picture below of the bugs and the dust. I understand the house is in the mountain and bugs will happen but I suggest an exterminator once a month may help. In regards to the dust if you have a cleaning company coming out you may want to visit your house because they are not doing a good job. The smell simple need better ventilation with the hot tub in side the house.
