We absolutely loved the property! The cabin was clean and exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We will be staying here again.
Perfect family vacation! We love this area so much! The house was perfect for 6 of us! The kids loved the hot tub and playing in the river! We saw so many deer and baby bunnies!
What a wonderful, easy to access cabin right on the Watauga River. Well decorated and renovated with expansive porches on the front and back. Plenty of room, lots of quiet!

This is a very nice place ! The river in the back yard is amazing even caught a few trout in it.
The property and the cabin were both very nice. We were disappointed that there was no access to the river, which was the main reason we rented this cabin. The place was extremely clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and the hot tub was so relaxing.
House was nice overall. Just some issues.
1. Was told check in was at 4pm. However when we arrived just after 4PM we couldn’t get into the house because the Landscaper was there cutting the grass and had the driveway blocked. We did’t get access until almost 5pm. After a 17 hour drive we were not happy having to sit in the car.
2. The back deck door lock did not work. Couldn’t secure the property. There was an alarm system but no instructions on how to use it.
3. Upstairs Shower leaked through the ceiling to the kitchen area. We couldn’t use it after one shower. We notified the property Manager who said they would send someone out the next morning but we never saw anyone the duration of the stay.
4. Bedroom 1 and 2 were very nice. Bedroom 3 could use softer mattresses. The ones in there are rock hard and onlt meant for small kids
Otherwise every thing alse was pretty nice
This Watauga River cabin in Valle Crucis was the perfect accommodation for my daughter’s young family to enjoy a week in Valle Crucis. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen are also large and highly functional with new appliances. The hot tub overlooking the Watauga river was especially luxurious. The large exterior decks add to the living space making the entire cabin well suited for family gatherings. I would definitely rent this cabin again for my family.
The entire stay from beginning to end was FANTASTIC. Property owners are super easy to get in touch with and more than accommodating. We booked a two night stay for a family ski trip. Some snow came in the day we planned to leave and decided last minute to stay another night. We reached out they responded very quickly and were able to stay another night. Thank you guys!!!
