"Our family loved our weekend at Highlands Lake House. Sam was amazing to communicate with. Location stunning. House had great atmosphere. We loved the log fire and fire pit. Highly recommend. Only comment would be to Stayz that it would improve information for people with additional needs if you listed each accessibility feature rather than just a generic ‘wheelchair accessible’ comment. (Eg step free access to different areas including showers etc.) if you provided hosts with different...

"The number lock on the gate was a nightmare to open at all times. It took us a minimum of 15 minutes each time to open. Hope this could be made easy. Other than that we would give 5 stars for everything else."

"We love animals and this place had plenty of it. Ducks, Alpacas, Chickens, Birds and most importantly the 2 dogs Jonathan and Patrick who jumped into bed with us a couple of times and even dropped by for breakfast with our dog."

"Wonderful location for coat weekend away. The home was wonderful and had everything we needed. It was so warm and both fireplaces made it the perfect winter escape. Judy and Graham were excellent hosts and so responsive! The chooks, cows and alpacas were lovely to visit too."
