The plot next to the hotel is a building site with heavy machinery working all day from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm. Very noisy and smelling of diesel. There was no indication of this when we booked. Our balcony overlooked the construcion site and was unusable. Also the internet did not work in our rooms. I complained and was told someone would look into it. One bar reception and dropping out all the time. This was never resolved. Avoid this hotel. At least the cleaners did a good job.

This hotel is overrated and should be classified as a 3-star property. The room is spacious, and my overall stay was decent. However, there was a strong smell of smoke in the room, despite it being a non-smoking room, which caused me to have a stuffy nose during my 5-night stay. The noise level was also an issue, as the hotel is near the road, and the constant slamming of doors was quite disruptive. The staff were generally friendly, but it would be nicer if the receptionist smiled more and was a bit friendlier.

The staff were very good & helpfull the rooms not as good.I stayed twice in a week.The first stay I booked a suite and it was basic to say the least, large but very sterile and showed unprofessional fix up jobs e.g. wall plaster filling.The second stay was in a superior room.which was well appointed and a lot more comfortable.

This is a budget friendly hotel which means all you want is a decent bed, and functioning shower, fridge, etc.I booked 2 nights but my plane was delayed a day and when I tried to cancel one night they refused. Bad start I arrive at check-in and told there's good news and bad news....the room is ready there's no electricity for a few hours but I can leave my luggage and go for a walk. The room is newly mopped and there's a stench most likely from cleaning solution? I return 5 hours later and guess what? The stench is still there.I bite the bullet because it's only one night but never again. The furniture was old but you'd think they'd steam clean the couch (Lord knows what's been taking place on there).

The hotel was nice, the rooms that we stayed were nice but the rooms need to be dust. I been stuff up with sinus the whole time I stayed. Houses keeping only make the bed and give you towels. They don’t clean the bathroom. Bathroom needs to use bleach you can see the mold on the ytile in the bathroom. Construction work noise

The property needs work. Glass door hinge sagging asked for help none ever given. Had to do workaround myself to allow to close the shower door. Shower head not tight. Waited 3 days for them to fix. Meals were the worst I have had for any breakfast included in the price. Staff at front counter were rude when asking for help. Got me upset and then made me feel like being rude. Tried not to lower myself to the level they presented with. Overall rating 1 out of 5.

I have stayed at Hopeland a number of times but now the rooms are showing wear. Mould is building up in shower. Love the location. Also security and bellboys are great. Reception staff except for one male are unfriendly and unhelpful. I am friendly and regularly greet staff. The reception girls don’t even return a hello or look up or smile. They also are not very helpful with simple tasks. Sadly I will not stay here anymore as was a reasonably priced place. I will pay more for a place that is cleaner and has friendlier reception staff (not the male reception who is ok).

As I arrived BKK before noon, the friendly staff manage to get me my room and allowed me check in early. The whole process didn't take up much of my time. This hotel is locatied near Nana BTS, about 10min walking distance. While walking toward hotel, pub and restaurants fill both side of the road with 7-11 just few blocks away from hotel. The room look decent and spacious for me. I felt that is time to replace some of the furniture and make sure you get the cleaner to clean not just the room. The window & sliding door to balcony it full of birds dropping..... is look disgusting. Overall is worth a stay.
