Baan Laem Noi Villa
Napasai, A Belmond Hotel, Koh Samui
5.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (140)
"One of the most beautiful resorts I've ever been to! Peaceful, calm, serene, relaxing, luxurious. Get the sea view villa! It has the most amazing views - even from the shower! And one of the only places on Ko Samui where you can see the gorgeous sunsets (you can't do that on the East Coast in Chaweng). You don't hear your neighbours as you are in your own little paradise bubble. Very romantic if you're there with a partner, I imagine (I was on a solo trip). There were a few young families with...

Ban Tai Estate Villas
4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (2)
"Ban tai was beautiful! The villa was very up-to-date and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The only negative is that they do not accept credit cards for check-in, despite it being listed on hotels.com as an option. Management claimed it’s because they have issues with physically using credit cards which seems incredibly odd for a luxe villa. The management wanted to hold 10,000 baht in cash during the stay, which is absurdly high compared to other stays in the area. "

Anna Resort
3.0 star property
6.0 out of 10, (1)
"No frills, pool is tiny, not actually a real pool, but decent. Rooms are fairly comfortable, food is very good at the restaurant. The Thai workers are helpful, the South African man who runs the place is not, he charged me 300 baht to drive me to the pier, travelling to Surat for a flight, then he did not show, a friend of his did, but he DID not give the new driver the 300 baht, so I paid twice! Not happy about that."
