"First the pro - the idea of this resort, individual villas, is good. Now the cons: - The staff had no idea that I was arriving. After 20 minutes of inaction and repeated study of my booking receipt (on my iPhone), they said they would take 15 minutes to make up my room (confirmed by Max on the phone as the more expensive Deluxe Villa). 30 minutes later, they tried to put me in a Superior Villa. "The art at this place is why I came here. The host is incredible and kind, creative and a pillar of his community. He took me on a bike ride around the town, a candle lighting ceremony at the temple, and to other beautiful locations. "We loves the hotel. Our room was on the seventh floor and the view was awesome. The hotel is located close to several large restaurants or bars and it is very loud at night. The breakfast in the description says buffet. Every day you have the options. They are rice soup, boiled eggs, a noodle dish and toast. We found a restaurant very close with a great breakfast, Cupcake at Phayao. Amazing!"
