"This place is absolutely beautiful!!! The staff is super helpful and friendly. We got a room with a view of the city and it was incredible. Also the roof/pool bar at night was just amazing. Oh the views!!!! Totally recommend stay here. Also close to a mall with great stores and the river is just a few minutes away "

"We stayed here, as an old married couple for approx 2 months. You can't get any more convienant to an old school Bangkok neighborhood. Wongwian Yai is a great place to settle. Safe yet busy and fun. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and accommodating. And, this is so important, and I'm so grateful for it, they brought us 2 bottles of water everyday! Thank you, all, for a safe and comfortable stay! Oh, the mattresses are very very firm, just fyi"

"The property is in an excellent location with lots to do within walking fistance. Plus, there's a nice museum, historic structures and displays on site. The restaurant overlooks the canal and the food was great though there could have been more variety to the daily dishes.Our room was good except for the adjoining storage room which was noisy when sliding open and closed. Besides, there were a lot of tiny ants in a particular area of the room, but the staff dealt with them promptly on two occasions when asked. The staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"Spartan but clean and comfortable. I stayed in a deluxe room on the 5th floor. Large space, with plenty of power outlets and more amenities than I would expect at this price. Good water pressure with endless hot water available. Huge TV with cable channels including several in English. Courteous staff checked me in and then left me alone. Good location about 1 km from the train station and near many quality coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants. Cute attached coffee shop too. Please note that hotel signs are in Thai language only, but Grab drivers are familiar with the property. I would glady stay here again. Great value."

"My stay this year must have been the 8th time in 15 years! The swimming pool, gym, Wongwian yai train, BTS and market makes it very convenient to stay around or go further. The atmosphere is relaxed, respectful and very quiet. The staff are all very nice and helpful and the cleaning of your room and water bottles and coffee is given daily. Will return again. "
