Our stay at Grand Kata VIP exceeded every expectation and was one of the highlights of our first trip to Thailand. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and treated us like valued guests rather than just another reservation. What truly sets this hotel apart is its incredible team. Every staff member was warm, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate our family. Whether it was answering questions, helping with transportation, offering local recommendations, or making sure everything was perfect during our stay, nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel completely at home. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and in a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy everything Kata has to offer. After long days exploring Phuket, it was the perfect place to relax. This was our first visit to Thailand, and Grand Kata VIP played a huge part in making it such an unforgettable experience. We will absolutely be returning, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality. Stayed 2 years on the trot and it’s lovely, my only concern now is it seems to be catering for the Muslim community which is fine but this factors in the food for breakfast. The pool was way too warm we asked the pool attendant numerous times to chill it but came on deaf ears. The pool tiles are dated and need change ASAP as they have very sharp edges and could be a problem for young children ( to which there are many at this resort. Overall 2 and a bit resort sorry

Great hotel, rooftop pool, beautiful view, spacious 2 bedroom, great tv and Samsung smart tv channels! I loved the washer on the balcony and walked to 7 eleven for laundry detergent. Washing clothes was a breeze and inexpensive.

We booked this hotel because the group we were traveling with chose it based on TikTok reviews. For the price point, I think we could have purchased something better. However, we really enjoyed the welcome drink, breakfast, spa, floating lunch, and rooftop dinner. You can tell that this place is trying hard to reinvest into the property. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even helped me arrange a welcome anniversary surprise for my wife. We booked a partial sea view room. Initially, we had a corner room with great AC and no view of the sea. Then we moved to a room with a partial view of the sea but with poor AC. My wife and I used the concierge to arrange a private tour for sightseeing. Minnie was attentive, personable, helpful, and communicative. The personal tour and driver she booked was the highlight of the trip. Also, this property sits on a steep hill. There’s a beach and 7-11 nearby, however, I wouldn’t walk to it. The property has golf carts and maybe you can have the staff drive you up and down the hill. They don’t even walk the hill. Overall, great staff, good property, and alright breakfast, but I think you can find more bang for your buck somewhere else. TikTok has overhyped this property. It wasn’t near anything we visited taking 45-1 hr to get anywhere.

They have two separate buildings. One is very poor no elevator to the other floor rooms were smelly , stayed one night. Move to different hotel. In the shower, I was almost touching my head to the ceiling in shower and showerhead Height was little below my chest Can’t go higher than that.
