"Beautiful hotel with jungle plants all around and next to the river. We watched the sunrise every morning and saw many birds including a kingfisher. The amazing monitor lizards were swimming in the river one day. The staff were so kind and the bicycles were free so we explored locally. A perfect place to stay rather than the noise of the city."

"Terrible service. Bed sheets were not cleaned as evidenced by hairs on the pillow and under the blanket. Staff was so rude. I booked a room with breakfast included. When asked about where should I go for breakfast, the staff replied “no breakfast for you! You booked the room with discount. How dare you ask about breakfast. Other rooms pay more than you and they don’t get breakfast!”. Beware of the check in time that ends so early. I will not be staying here again and would not recommend anyone...

"The property is in an excellent location with lots to do within walking fistance. Plus, there's a nice museum, historic structures and displays on site. The restaurant overlooks the canal and the food was great though there could have been more variety to the daily dishes.Our room was good except for the adjoining storage room which was noisy when sliding open and closed.
