"We stayed 3 nights in the "casa grande" associated with the Galapagos Pearl Hotel and could not have been more pleased. The casa has 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, one bathroom, and is conveniently located right next to the pool and the outdoor dining area where Yolanda serves breakfast. Your room is cleaned every day. The garden surrounding the pool and casa is lush and full of geckos, cats, and beautiful plantings. Yolanda is from the Galapagos, she is a wonderful host and her daughter helped us...

"We had a very nice time staying at Torre Mar. It was very conveniently located. We were 5 families...me (the mom) and my 4 kids, their spouses and 6 grandkids. Everyone had their own "suite". The advertising is a little confusing. I thought we were renting a "home", and then realized it was an apartment/hotel....but as I said, it was very nice for each family to have private space. The owner John was very friendly, although we did have some miscommunication issues, which is interesting...

"We loved our stay there, near many attractions that you can easily walk to or take the taxi for ~$2 dollars to the Darwin Research Station/Pier or more if further away, staff were friendly & accommodating. Breakfasts was delicious & our rooms were newly renovated (you can ask if are available). We love that they have a pool, hot tub, ping pong table, spa, water dispensers, outdoor tables for gathering/reading/dining & ice available upon requests. Unforgettable journeys & escape home in Galapagos!! We definitely recommend & would love to return if extra blessings permits. "

"This was a great stay! The hotel is so cute and the staff is top notch! The rooms were spacious, had plenty of shelving, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is convenient, located near stores, Darwin Ave, restaurants, and bars. It is about a 10 minute walk to the pier, but they will coordinate taxis if you need it. They give you a discount to a local tour agency and restaurant. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. I skipped breakfast and told them I was going to Isabela Island and they made a to-go bag for lunch for me. Highly recommend this place!"
