An Irish Idyll - traditional stonewall cottage nestled in hills above Downings
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (149)
"Teachín cottage is both a step back in time and an oasis from the wider world. It is gorgeously situated with outstanding and ever-changing views pf Sheep Haven Bay, framed from each window of the cottage and from every vantage point along the road. Apart from the odd cuckoo, the cottage is incredibly quiet and tranquil. It is also very comfortable, especially once the stove is stoked and throws some heat. Spectaular Home Overlooking Culdaff Beach on the Wild Atlantic Way
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (23)
"Our group consisted of four adults - my wife and I and our adult children. This property is fantastic; we had lots of room to spread out, or be together, whichever we preferred at the time. We didn't get to meet Angela, but Gertrude was great. She met us at the property to give us a quick tour, and was readily accessible throughout our stay. She was great. And the house is fantastic. Fully appointed and very nicely decorated, too. Reminds me of places we see on the TV show Escape to the Country....
