Visit the Derrigimlagh walking trail which offers a 5km loop walk through the history and heritage of the Marconi wireless station and the Alcock and Brown landing site. There are numerous driving routes to explore in the region, including the well-known Roundstone Bog Road, the Sky Road, and the Wild Atlantic Way. Sea fishing is available locally and Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park are just a short drive away. Ballyconneely village is just 3.5km away and offers two shops, a bar and restaurant, café, community hall, children's playground, and community park. The village will supply you with everything you need for your self-catering holiday. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment including dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with icebox, washing machine, electric oven and gas hob. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with table and chairs. The living room includes comfortable furniture, multi-channel TV, and open fire. The sofa converts to a sofa bed, ideal for occasional additional guests. Starter fuel is provided for the fire. The sofa bed in the living room area can sleep two additional guests if required.
The bedroom offers a king size bed, views to the front of the property, and ample storage for all your clothing and belongings. The fully tiled en-suite bathroom includes WC, sink and electric shower. Timber floors throughout the property.
The property is electrically heated throughout. Immersion water heater. Linen and towels are included. Electricity is included. Wi-Fi is available. Short breaks are available all year round.
