"Very good service, clean & comfortable hotel with a lovely Bistro Bar attached. I don’t visit Ards very often but would stay here again the next time I did"
"Great staff, Maggie who checked us in and sorted out rooms with the booking agent after I made an error in the original booking was fantastic, a real asset to the Hotel "
"This is one of those rare gems where every detail of the property was extraordinary! Top marks for outstanding and lovely service- we were waited on hand and foot, absolutely beautiful decor, in the most luxurious setting in the heart of Belfast.
From the amazing complimentary cheese plate and wine and drinks on arrival to the fireplace and park views, the toiletries and soaps were also divine! I wanted to move right in!!! "
"Unique hotel in a great location to explore Belfast by foot. Enjoyed the bar and rooftop restaurant during our stay! Rooms are on the smaller side but very clean and comfortable."

"We were so impressed by this hotel. Fabulous room, very comfortable and spacious. The pool was great but mostly it was the welcoming and accommodating staff who made our visit so special. They were so helpful. We got room service instead of eating in the restaurant and it was fabulous. The Operations Manager who was on firing the evening of our visit made it such an easy process and the food was delicious. "

"We were delighted with the house. Very comfortable, nice, large windows and fantastic view of downtown Belfast from the second- floor master bedroom."
The Cornmill at at Ballystockart Cottages, your home from home.
10/10 Excellent
"Our week stay at the Cornmill was fantastic! It was even better than expected. it's a quiet place in the country but still so close to Dundonald and Comber. Only about 15 to 20 min drive to Belfast. Lindsay was a very responsive and kind host. We can not wait to come back and can not wait to recommend the Cornmill to anyone we know heading to the area. The views are amazing, plenty of room for a family of 4. Everything you need to cook, washer and dryer which was so helpful for a long stay. You just can't go wrong staying at Lindsay's place. Thank you for opening your wonderful home and making us feel at home. "
"I recently had to drop everything and fly home to Belfast because of a family emergency. I simply Googled “Best place to stay near the Ulster Hospital?”. A fantastic 5-star review appeared about Peartree Hill. I genuinely had more in my head so I simply made the booking. A few minutes after I received an email from Peartree Hill if I had any special requests. We arrived late at night and was greeted by Avril. She was so kind and had everything ready for us. I had a really long day traveling behind me and a hospital visit so I simply fell into probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. When I awoke I was looking at a beautiful view of Scrabo Tower and the stunning Irish countryside. A complete state of the art en-suite bathroom complete with floor heating. Strong WiFi, fridge, wide screen TV. Although I spent most of my time in the hospital, when I would come home I needed nothing. The room was cleaned, beds were made and Avril even placed a small jug of fresh milk in the fridge for my cup of morning tea. It was such a relief just not to have to worry about anything apart from the reason why I was there. If you are an author or screenwriter this is a hidden hideaway. Complete peace and quiet. It’s 10 minutes from Belfast City Center and 10 minutes to the East coast. They say every cloud has a silver lining. Well, I lost my father but found a new home away from home. Thank you Avril and Ian for making us feel so welcome."
"Another very enjoyable stay. The place is superbly presented, very well equipped and conveniently located for us. I would recommend very highly. We will definitely be back."
