"We stayed at The ring farmhouse for a wedding, it was a quiet and peaceful location. Carmel looked after us well, particularly at breakfast and even saved the day by lending us an iron. We had a good sized room and ensuite bathroom with the fluffiest towels we've ever had in any bnb. A lovely stay!"

"Great, central location in Ireland. Could drive to Galway, Clanmacnoise, Rock of Cashel, Burren, Dublin area easily and be back. All within two hours, some even 20 minutes. Parking great and walked to pubs, music, groceries, etc. 8 family including kids. Kids loved the loft area and family loved main dining/living area. Beds basic and comfortable, price was great for family budget! Thanks Sean!"

"A fantastic stay made all the better by the lovely Dympna, she was just amazing and professional and went above and beyond - to check in on us and the house. Excellent communication from her pre-check in too and she even messaged to warn us about roadworks in Terryglass. A 5 star service. The house was spotless and well equipped, it’s a very reasonable price for this area."

"The Dairy cottage was a perfect location for us, a 1.5 hr drive to all the destinations we wanted to see while there in Ireland! The hosts were very kind and willing to go the extra mile. We suggest going into town to the local pub for a pint…. Owner very nice and welcoming!"

"Super, friendly host Joe met us and gave us an insight into the local area and lots of information. There was just the two of us but the property could easily accommodate seven people. "From the minute we stepped foot into this property, we felt at home. We were met with sparkling clean accommodations, breathtaking views, a bowl of fruit on the table, and coffee and teabags in the counter! The rooms were all comfortable and attractive, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, tea pots, coffee press, sugar, spices, etc. We had a wonderful holiday at Shannon View, and recommend it highly! "Okay but some things should be improved. Lights in the driveway. Hazard at night. Irritating things such as no sieve, no tea strainer, no lights under worktops in the kitchen, poor finishing to several sections of the dwelling- has an ‘unfinished or slightly slapdash’ feel about it. Light to the dining area very poor. No replacement disposal bags. Carpets rather dirty. And so on. With a small bit of care and attention it could so easily be better."

"My wife and I came to vacation in Ireland with our 6 children. This was a lovely home that fit us perfectly. We stayed a week and traveled each day to another location to see the SW of the country. Caroline the property manager was very nice and very responsive. The only constructive feedback I would give is that it would be nice to have screens on the bedroom windows. This may not be applicable for the majority of the year, but it was very warm when we stayed, and with no A/C, we wanted to open...
