Tipperary explorations

Very relaxing stay in a peaceful country setting. Well equipped and spacious accommodations for a couple. Loved the outdoor patio lounge area. Friendly dogs to greet you and hosts were very pleasant.

Really beautiful accommodation in a wonderful and quiet spot. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly as was our little furry 4 legged visitor who smiled every time she came to say hello. It was a truly perfect place to relax and also as a base for our Friday night trip to Dublin to see Coldplay. Thank you sooo much, we will be back.

Great Experience

Excellent appartment-type accommodation with fully equipped kitchen (private). Great location for those looking for a quaint, more rural experience. 30 mins to Kilkenny and Cashel.

Brilliant accommodation! Really comfortable, it was great having a kitchen and lounge space. The hosts were really lovely and incredibly helpful. We stayed in December and it was a welcoming touch to arrive to a toasty space with the heating already on for us. Adorable dogs! Would absolutely come back.

This place was a little slice of heaven we weren’t expecting! Away from the hustle and bustle of major cities. The scenery was what captured us and left us sad the leave! We’d recommend to anyone traveling through the area!

Cozy Quaint Quality

Our stay at The Lodge in Ballingarry was absolutely lovely. The cabin was a perfect resting place between visiting castles, family/friends, and the abbeys. We adored our morning visits from Halley, and seeing the beautiful countryside each day. Our stay in Ireland has been so memorable, and we thank you so much for having us! Best wishes, Brooke

We had a wonderful time in this converted stable made apartment. Was beautiful location with sheep, cows and a horse outside. Family pet dog, Wiggles, was really sweet. Full kitchen, nice living and bedroom, and great shower. Would highly recommend as base camp for nearby attractions.

Little bit of rural heaven

It is a gorgeous place. The bed and sofa bed are extremely comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. The hosts go over an beyond to make sure you have a good stay

Lovely place in the country side

Beautiful, peaceful location about 25-30 minutes from Kilkenny. The property was very clean and well laid out. Internet was fast enough to keep my teen daughter happy! Overall a fantastic place for a relaxing visit.

Beautiful property

While I didn’t get to stay at this property because of distance from Kilkenny and not having a car I must say that the owner is very kind and gave me a refund !! I highly recommend this beautiful place if you have a rental car and are in the area ❤️

This is one of the best places we have stayed thus far. We had a very good first impression of the facility and the managers. We arrived a little earlier. My kids had travelled all day and needed to use their facilities. The manager opened their home for my children and was very kind to us through out our stay. This is a lovely place located in the beautiful countryside We will be making another trip here soon.

Girlie night away

4 friends got together for a pre Xmas girlie night. The lodge was perfect , nice and scenic and only 30 mins from Kilkenny. I would definitely return with my partner and children too as it would be ideal for a mini family holiday. The place is spotless and the host was more than accommodating. She even had the heater turned on for us before we arrived so it was nice and toasty inside. 10/10.

The property is a converted stable barn so you share a yard with the property owners. Very nice people! The property is wonderful: spacious yet modern with a nice bathroom. A bit off the beaten path, but after spending time in Dublin it was a nice and quiet change. Would stay here again.
