"Good communication from host to start with - but when I asked a question - no response. Bed was a sleigh style - so at 6'4" - I was not able to stretch out. Parking no so clear... carpark next to room is a 2hour limit carpark. There is a free one just below. Which we worked out"

Kinsale Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"This is a unique boutique hotel nestled in the countryside of Kinsale. Like a hotel tree house - built into the trees and surrounded by trees and walking and play spaces. Windows in the main area and bar/restaurant so you can easily see the field and lake behind it. Lovely stay with fun music the night of our stay. I wish we had more time explore the grounds and use the walkway."

The Clonakilty Hotel

The Clonakilty Hotel

8/10 Good
"To say it’s rough around the edges is being kind. As a solo business traveller it is convenient and the second time I have stayed. Former IPAS centre and it shows. Little money has been spent on it to bring it back to a real hotel level. Continental breakfast was good. Parking is convenient. In the centre of the town and cheaper than other hotels around. Fine for me but if I brought the wife she would not be happy."
