I was a bit disappointed with the check in procedure - especially that I had to re-park my car. (while another car on a similar parking place remained...) The staff was not bad - friendly in the typical German manner. That was ok for me but my friends felt a bit mistreated.

Bon hôtel

Personnel très agréable, bon petit déjeuner, le parking proche de l'hôtel est peu cher, la piscine était fermée car son chauffage était en panne! Bon emplacement.

Eine noble Unterkunft. Ein schön hergerichtetes Frühstücksbuffett mit zuvorkommender Bedienung. Wenig Steckdosen im Zimmer. Leider war es durch Veranstaltungen (einen Abend im Foyer eine Abschlussfeier, am 2. Abend eine Hochzeitsfeier) unruhig im Haus. Die Rezeption war nachts nicht besetzt. Hinweise auf die Lärmbelästigung konnten nicht abgegeben werden. Bei der nachträglichen Beschwerde über die Abschlussparty war die Rezeptionistin sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich. Der Hotelparkplatz ist relativ klein (ca. 10 Stellplätze). Direkt nebenan ist ein großer öffentlicher Parkplatz, der für 3€ pro Tag eine gute Alternative ist. Der Schlossgarten lädt zum Spazieren ein. Der Ort ist eher ruhig und beschaulich.

Wir mussten 30 Minuten warten beim Check In. Einen Zweitschlüssel für das Zimmer meines gehbehinderten Vaters war nicht zu bekommen. In 4 Tagen Donnerstag bis Sonntag wurde 1x das Bett gemacht, eine Reinigung des Bades gab es überhaupt nicht! Einzig das Frühstückpersonal war sehr hilfsbereit!

Sengen på hotellet var rigtig god! og værelset havde en god størrelse, eneste minus var at værelset lå oppe under kvisten så der blev varmt, og om aften var de musik fra enten teateret ved siden af eller fra bryllupper på selve hotellet. Personalet i receptionen var desværre ikke de mest i mødekommende.

Good stay but not as advertised

Hotel seems visually nice and pleasant, swimming pool and sauna are amazing and most of the personnel make you feel welcome. However there are a number of issues that I'm not so pleased with. First of all, the view out the window is at a construction site, totally spoiling the promised castle scenery. When I asked a waiter if perhaps they have their food menu in English or other language, as we couldn't really understand entirely what was on it, he looked at me and angrily replied "No". It's not a big deal but certainly didn't help the hotel's image. Then, as I was making the booking, there was a large number of things that were listed, which just didn't exist: * Cable TV had a list of international channels but only local German ones work. * It said there'd be a fireplace in the room. According to the receptionist, none of the rooms in the hotel have a fireplace. * There just is no minibar in my room. Just a small empty fridge. It clearly stated there'd be one. * No adjoining room. In the picture, when I was making the booking, it clearly showed a bedroom and an adjoining living room. Not really that big of a deal but when you pay for all those things and don't get them, it really feels as if I was led on. The receptionist said that she has no idea why those things were listed on Hotel.com, as they don't exist in their hotel. She contacted her manager over the phone, who wasn't even interested in this.
