"Lucini cottage is one of a small group of cottages set in secluded street just off the main road in Hepburn. All I can say, is WOW, what a gorgeous and welcoming place. We arrived on a very cold night and after a long drive we appreciated that the lights and gas log fire place were on to greet us. Beautifully decorated and very cozy and only few minutes drive to Daylesford town centre."

"Just what we wanted. Slow days, sunshine and no distractions. Time to do word puzzles, paint pictures, press flowers, cook pancakes and talk. I enjoyed these precious few days with my three kids. "The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay."

"A beautiful old world cabin retreat! Perfect for a cosy and relaxing getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised how many luxurious touches there were while in keeping with the original miners cottage it is. The kitchenette is perfect for cooking porridge for breakfast and a nice meal for lunch or dinner if you don’t want to venture out all the time. Really lovely views and great bush walking tracks. A very nice and comfortable place to stay. Thank you to the foresight...

"This cottage ticked all the boxes for us -comfortable, well-furnished, and cute as a button. The bedroom has good bedside lamps for reading and we slept well. The kitchen and living space are well designed and attractively styled. The air-con cools the house nicely, and the fireplace looks very inviting for the winter months. But lovely as the interior is, our favourite spot was the front porch with its sunny aspect and restful view of trees. Hard to say who liked it more - us or our kelpie....
