Very charming property in a relatively quiet area, good customer service and room service was efficient. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming towards guests staying at the hotel. The only thing to impove is the spa service. Although the spa I had was nice however I felt that the price was too high compared to other places that offer a similar service.

It was OK. We were truthfully there when it wasn't sunny so we didn't get to try out the pool and beach, which is obviously the main draw, but what I can say is that the room was pretty standard (despite having the premier deluxe) and the restaurant was forgettable. Still, it is a good option if you are dead set on Sanur - we liked our time in Ubud MUCH more though if you were debating how to weight your trip.

The Puri Santrian is a very beautiful resort. Gardens are lush and private. The beach front has a large outdoor dining area, sunbeds and lounges for sunbathing and relaxing. It has two large pools that have steps into the pool for easy access. The staff were amazing and friendly. There are many restaurants just a short walk from the resort. Lots of shopping and services such as laundry and massages. loved the beach and the walking path along the beach. You can also hire bicycles for the day and ride along the bike path. Sanur was a pleasant surprise. I loved the hotel and Sanur was a pleasant surprise.

Room up grade was up six flights of steps with no lift. At aged 80 and 77 although age appropriately very fit it didn’t seem like an appropriate up grade

Every time I book a hotel room through Expedia, I get a terrible disgusting room. Hotels really don’t like customers booking rooms through Expedia, due to having to give up some of the money the customer pays. I will not book another hotel room through Expedia, I don’t like staying in the worst room in the hotel. In the future, I’ll contact the hotel directly.

We had an amazing stay here! The hotel grounds are beautiful and you feel like you're in a temple. It's right next to the beach too which is amazing - plus the hotel pools are great so you're spoiled for choice! We enjoyed our room even if it wasn't anything special, but it was clean and the bed super comfy! The only small things were that food, drinks, spa and the hotel taxi were a bit expensive for the area, but it was convenient! I also celebrated my birthday there and thought I may get a little treat (it doesn't have to be anything big!), but I didnt even get a 'happy birthday'.. Dont want to sound spoiled, but those small things is what makes a place stand out!

Room was good and clean. Staff at this hotel did not look happy and lacked commitment. No cultural or any other activities at all. Breakfast was not bad but not good either. Coffee was not offered so had to work hard to catch someone’s eye. Grounds were in urgent need of maintenance. One lady tripped on a broken tile. No effort was made to fix it. She was badly bruised and shaken and the hotel should have taken her to BIMC for X-rays.. Guests are not made to feel welcome at this hotel. Overpriced and coasting along on past reputation

Quiet clean resort located on nice beach .Gardens and pools well maintained.Not a big selection of cafes outside but main Sanur tourist area can be accessed by taxi with ease.Only negative was that daily housekeeping of room and supply of toiletries / towels a bit hit and miss.

Our stay at the Puri Santrian in February 23 we could not fault anything. This was our 1st stay here and I would highly recommend anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay in Sanur to book here. My only regret is we shouldve stayed here longer than we did.

I have stayed a few resorts in Sanur and this was my favourite. It has a calm, authentic, and established feel about it, plus the local staff is friendly and courteous. It has excellent amenities, good quality rooms, and a lovely beach frontage - very important for a Sanur experience I think. It is also one of four Santrian resorts owned by a local family. I’ll book there again if staying in Sanur

Puri Santrian- an oldy but a goody.
The hotel/resort is lovely. Its an old resort and the first room we had was on the third floor with no lift which was a bit much with the heat. It was nice but tired. The ground floor room they gave us after we asked to be moved as my back went whilst we were there and I could no longer do the stairs was much better. There are three different types of rooms and I’d be inclined to ask for the newer rooms which are far better. There is a big difference between the old rooms and the newer rooms in the complex which has a lift. The resort is beautiful, the grounds & gardens really are awesome. Lots of swimming pools to choose from so never busy. The staff are very attentive and cant do enough for you. Breakfast is the usual buffet spread & much of a muchness. Cappuccinos or lattes are extra and not cheap otherwise brewed coffee & tea is included but average. Eggs anyway, fruit, cereal, bread/toast, bacon, Indonesian fare is all available and included in the buffet. The resort food is quite good but as usual not as cheap. The resort is in a nice part of Sanur and the Warung Paon directly opposite the entrance to the resort has very good food & a must try. We ate there several times but stick to beer or soft drinks, their cocktails are arak cocktails and not great. Same with the resort bar, stick to actual sprits like Gin & tonic or whiskey & coke or you’ll get arak- nasty. All in all a good experience.
