Comfort Inn & Suites New Iberia - Avery Island

10/10 Excellent

"We cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Comfort Inn in New Iberia, Louisiana. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine kindness, warmth, and hospitality. Tina at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, personable, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome. She took the time to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The General Manager, Miss Ella, was amazing. During my stay I had a slight health issue while at a restaurant nearby. Miss Ella heard about it and drove over to see about me. She was very personable, attentive, and genuinely cared. She took extra steps, making sure all of our accommodations were taken care of. Her kindness and hands-on attention really stood out to us.. The entire staff made our stay feel special. It is wonderful to stay somewhere where you are treated not simply as a guest, but as someone they truly care about. Thank you, Tina, Miss Ella, and the entire staff for your outstanding hospitality. You made our stay memorable, and we would definitely stay here again! Maccie and Frederick"

10/10 Excellent

"We spent a quick two days in this very cool house in downtown New Iberia right on Bayou Teche. So close you see the water hyacinth flowers as they float by. The house is clean and cozy and is centrally located so you can walk just about anywhere downtown. The star of the house, though, is the big, covered deck where you can watch the bayou roll by. The turf on the deck is clean and very comfy for bare feet. Mickey was right there if we had any questions or needed anything. Which we didn't. I think he's also working on the Baits Hotel right next door, which looks to be a great spot even closer to the bayou. Right on the bank. Great place in the heart of Acadiana."
