Charming Studio / Cottage in Marina BHI & Shoals Club Available

Welcome to "Earth" one of the four Element Cottages perched on the edge of Bald Head Island's 10-acre marina.

With the marina on one side and the creek across the street, this cozy and bright one bedroom cottage has beautiful harbor views and is steps to the shops, restaurants and beach accesses of Harbour Village.

The cottage features a queen size bed and a full bath with shower. The kitchenette offers a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker, as well as kitchen basics.

A four-seater golf cart is available to explore the island and its beaches.

In addition, guests have the ability to purchase a temporary House Membership to the Bald Head Island Club which offers members the right to use the dining facilities of the Club and the Pool only. Membership is also available at the picturesque Shoals Club featuring oceanside dining, pool, and scenic views. Pricing varies with time of year.

Bed linens and bath towels are included.

There are NO beach chairs or beach towels at the cottage.

We highly enjoyed staying here. The host is wonderful. We had a minor issue that was not the fault of the owners, but just something out of their control and they were so gracious and hurried to make our experience the best possible. We did wish there was a little stove or hot plate bc we love to cook our own food BUT… there are plenty of places to eat on the island. We will definitely stay here again. It was absolutely wonderful to wake up and see the marina. 10’out of 10 recommend

Ideal Location

Really enjoyed our stay at Earth Cottage! All the amenities are provided. Just minutes from the ferry, right on the marina. Walking distance to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus ice cream! The beaches are awesome (!!), and the golf cart provided is perfect for exploring all that BHI has to offer! We will be back!

We took boat down and were able to get a slip very close to Earth. Great location for us. Secured a Shoals Club guest membership. Cart that came with Earth isn’t a looker but gets you to market and other end of island quickly! Accommodated an early check in which was awesome. Perfect spot for two for a few nights!

Beautiful Place!

My husband and I stayed for two nights at Earth, and it was perfect for us! The cottage is quaint and right on the marina. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the boats each morning. It was lovely, and we will definitely go back!

Quick get away

The cottage was perfect right on the water in front of the boat slips in the marina. It was nicely equipped and very comfortable. We had easy access to everything on the island. Many restaurants to choose from. We look forward to coming back.

Celebrating a Wedding

This place was an awesome place to spend a weekend at! Extremely clean and warm and welcoming. The location is so cool because you wake up overlooking the harbor! There are plenty of places so close to eat and relax. Homeowners are quick to respond and make sure we were taken care of. Will definitely stay at again in the future.

Great Compact Cottage on the Water!

We love Bald Head and only had time for a quick visit. Earth bungalow is ideal for two who want beautiful harbor sunset views, a tiny kitchen (no stove), and easy access from the ferry to shops and restaurants. Coffee close by too. We appreciated the use of the golf cart and chairs and had an easy time working with the super responsive management. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Perfect lil getaway spot with the fastest golf cart on the island 😉 This studio is clean, comfy and meets all your needs. Lovely easy walks to anything you need including the ferry to and from the island. My favorite part of my stay was sitting on the bench outside at night listening to the boats talking to each other. We celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday with a couple of days in Earth. Really liked having the golf cart to move around the island. Room was comfortable and convenient. I am not the greatest fan of vrbo and had a few issues at times but overcame them eventually. Thank you for sharing your place.
