"Very clean and thoroughly equipped cottage on a beautiful lake. The entire property was well stocked with virtually every amenity you could think of. The owners really went above and beyond to think through anything you might want or need during your stay and included it on the property. We rented the pontoon and kayaks which made the experience all the more special. My son really enjoyed fishing off the dock, where he caught 8 fish in one afternoon.We spent most of our time in the large yard overlooking the lake where we could relax, read, play games and just enjoy the scenery. Although the cottage is located in a more remote area, it’s only a 15 minute drive into Greenville which has plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else you would need. We frequented a local ice cream shop which was less than 5 minutes away.Our favorite activity was just swimming in the lake. Beautiful, clean, clear and refreshing water!"

"The house was very clean and had more than what we needed for sure! Unfortunately, the weather was very cold and rainy! Not what we planned or hoped for. But, there was so much space and areas for the 15 of us and it worked out just fine! We did rent the pontoon and it was in great shape and we enjoyed our rides despite being freezing! lol We would definitely rent again."

"Beautiful sunrises over the lake to be seen off the covered patio. Close enough to town to get supplies but far away for seclusion for the perfect getaway. Had good luck fishing off the boats, caught a lot of pike and bass. Hot tub was a great way to relax in the evening. Went with adults and kids plus our dog. Perfect family vacation. Host was very responsive to any issues and concerns."

"We had a remarkable time here! The home is in really good condition and it is clean and as described. The home smelled fresh for being on the lake, it does not have that damp lake home smell which I really appreciate. The host was a 5-star communicator, I didn't have any questions because all of the details were given by the host in advance. The hot tub was perfect, clean and in great condition and with a view of the lake. The lake was quiet and great for kayaking and the provided kayaks were clean and in great condition. We also used the fire pit and that was the perfect end to one of our days. We took our dog and he had an amazing time as well! We hiked a local trail along the river, the Carl Paepke Flat River Trail, and we highly recommend it. There is a Walmart and Meijer very close to the home in case you forget anything. We will for sure be back, this place is a gem!"
