"I loved my stay; it was a lovely family-run hotel. I highly recommend it and would happily return! The family that runs the hotel greeted me with open arms, and it was one of the highlights of my stay in Nepal. 700-800 NPR taxi to Thamel, and 1000 NPR to the airport as reference."

"Beautiful views and fresh air. Helium was a fantastic host, always polite and ready to help us however we needed. House was clean and bedroom was as described. Our flight was late in the evening so we were allowed to stay an extra 6 hours and Helium even went to collect some food. Breakfast was tasty and very filling. We loved it here and plan to return. The best time to see the mountains is early morning. With luck, it will be clear enough to see Annapurna and Mount Everest. We were lucky enough to see both. The property was nice, comfortable, and the restaurant had great food. "

"The Famous Farm is in a great location. Staff is friendly and attentive, and the scenery is fantastic. The hotel itself is rustic, and all the entryways are vary low (I banged my head a few times) and the stairways are steep. But, it's a good little spot to just enjoy a simple life."
