Spectacular View of Seattle!

Incredible beachfront property views of Seattle across the sound! Can watch, dolphins, seals, great blue heron, eagles all while seated in an arm chair, looking out the front window!

Beautiful spot on Bainbridge Island

We had an absolute wonderful stay here. The house was perfect for my family of 4. Beds were comfortable, there was enough kitchen supplies for us to make food, and the place was very clean. But the view is why we fell in love with this house. The house is right on the ocean and you have a direct view of the Seattle skyline. We spent hours just looking out at the ocean and even were lucky enough to spot some otters. It was absolutely fabulous and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful and peaceful. We sat on the porch and watched a family of otters swim around and then climb the rocks. We went down to the rocky beach at low tide. It was amazing. The kitchen is well stocked. We were able to cook dinner there and breakfast easily. The beds were comfortable… and it was nice that it also had a pull out porch. The beds and decorating are basic. But we were comfortable and happy. The view is the best feature of all. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Pre Thanksgiving gathering

After reading the reviews both good and bad I decided to give this place a chance. Yes it was dated… something’s did not work as well had it been a newer place. A garage should not have been advertised unless there was instructions to access it. A few disclosures would have been nice however the spaciousness of the space and that incredible view made up for anything that was lacking. Our three night stay was very relaxing. Sure beats staying in a cramped motel.!!

Bainbridge Island home

The house is located with a perfect view of Puget Sound and the Seattle skyline. You could sit in front of the big picture windows all day and watch the changing scenery - including birds, otters and even a coyote on the beach. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. A couple of issues - despite a description of ‘beach access’ there is no safe way to get to the beach in front of the house. We did end up carefully crawling down the rocks and basically trespassed in a neighbor’s yard to get safely back up. Also the sun deck off the kitchen needs some repairs. The deck boards had seen better days, and it didn’t feel sturdy to sit out there for long. Also - would recommend some type of shades for the picture windows because it gets very hot in the living room (even in April) when the sun comes out.

I am very familiar with Bainbridge Island. The location is wonderful and the view is second to none. The reviews state the home is dated, so I expected that, but the home is comfortable. The listing however is deceptive, and in fact the photos and the description, changed just before we check-in, which was odd. The garage is a construction zone. No garage access. Driveway full of construction materials and a port-o-potty. All not disclosed. The home is the upper level of a two story house. Not disclosed. The interior stairs lead to the lower level which is locked off. When I asked the prop manager if the bottom unit was occupied, they would not answer. So we are in a home where someone on the lower level can get into our area without knowledge. Not disclosed and unsafe. The “beach access” is down a path with a “No Trespassing” sign and leads to the lower level of the home. But there is no path, so you have to cross the lower level deck or manage through the overgrown yard and under a tree. Despite asking about clarification about beach access, we were reminded twice not to access the lower level “amenities”. Confusing. We bought 200 worth of food to cook, with no BBQ, despite being noted in the listing. The queen “pull out” couch was not that at all, rather a futon cushion on the floor. Multiple pest traps and rodents were visible outside but not inside. The view is amazing. The house is fine. Disclosure and transparency was awful. Had I other options, I’d seek a refund.

It is a very nice location next to the sound, with amazing view of Seattle, even on a gloomy winter day. It is about 15 minute drive from downtown Bainbridge so very convenient. The house is clean and good size for family with little children. The sofa bed could use new sheets. We didn’t want to change sheets so we ended up not using it. The kitchen is equipped with a good number of plates and bowl, so we were able to heat up the food we brought from restaurants. This is an older house - one of the beds squeaks a little, but it is not a big problem to us. Appreciate many towels in there. Though we did not rent the lower level this time, there was a note about it being available for rental too, and I imagine it would be nice to BBQ with friends on the patio in summer, so we may come back with friends.

Relaxing with a perfect view
