"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta de la Rosa. The views over the Douro Valley are absolutely beautiful and made for a very relaxing experience. We loved the onsite restaurant and spending time at Tim’s Terrace, both of which made the most of the stunning surroundings. The wine tour and tasting were a highlight, with knowledgeable staff and excellent wines. The property was clean, quiet, and peaceful throughout our stay. A wonderful place to unwind and experience the beauty of the Douro Valley."

"The site is amazing, with the hotel's buildings scattered artfully across a number of terraces that traverse the steep hillside. Our room was spacious and comfortable and even had a lovely balcony facing the Douro. The big pool was gorgeous and a delight to swim in. Our only meals on site (two breakfasts and one dinner) were buffet-style--perfectly acceptable but nothing special."

"Outstanding stay, thanks to an exceptional team We had a wonderful stay, and the staff is what made it truly memorable. From start to finish, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Cecilia, in particular, was amazing. When we ran into an issue with a driver pickup, she stepped in and handled it with genuine care and professionalism. She went above and beyond to make things right, and it turned what could have been a frustrating moment into one of the best service experiences we've ever had at a hotel. If you stay here, you're in great hands. Thank you, Cecilia, and the entire team, for taking such good care of us. And the breakfasts were awesome too."

"This is by no measure a 5-star property, but a well used 4-star facility. The upkeep is not really up to par, with mold in the bathroom, bathroom doors peeling severly due to water damage, stained towels etc. The breakfast is fine, but, again, not up to 4-star standards (including 5-star hotels in Portugal). The common spaces like the dining room show extensive damage due to use (and lack of maintenance?) and there's peeling paint in the hallways. However, the staff were exceedingly friendly and the price we paid in mid-May (around 150 € per night) was right for a 4-star place."

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Casa Douro Terrace. Die Aussicht auf das Douro-Tal ist einfach traumhaft und die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber, ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und die angenehme Atmosphäre. Für Babys war alles vorhanden – das hat unseren Aufenthalt als Familie unglaublich entspannt gemacht. Ein großes Dankeschön an João für die herzliche Betreuung und die tolle Unterstützung während unseres Aufenthalts. Ein perfekter Ort, um die Schönheit der Region zu genießen – wir kommen gerne wieder!"
