I stayed for three days and the hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring the city of Frankfurt. The main train station is only five minute walk, and everything else is within ten minutes walk. Excellent transport links means you don't need to walk more than a couple of minutes if you don't want to. I stayed in a nice sized single room which was very comfortable, and stylish. The staff are friendly. The breakfast didn't have a mass of choice, but everything was very high quality. This is a four and a half star hotel and there is no area that it doesn't feel like it. Very high quality hotel. Very pleasant stay, one of the few hotels in the world that I would happily stay in again.
We stayed here for 4 nights in room 24, which is at the front of the hotel. The hotel is located about 5 mins walk from the Haubtbanhof train station. It is close to a seedy red light area, which can easily be avoided by walking North to the train station and following the main road back South, rather than cutting through the side streets. We walked through the seedy area several times both day and night and didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The hotel staff were very friendly. Our room was well organised with good storage space and was clean and of a reasonable size. The bed was comfortable, however it seemed that the seal had gone on the window making it a very noisy and uncomfortable 4 nights sleep, feeling like you were sleeping outside with the sound of traffic and on the Sat night, loud music. In addition to this, the 'headboard' of the bed contained the air conditioning and somehow seemed to act as an amplifier for noise from the surrounding rooms. This was a real shame as it was the only real negative of what was otherwise a lovely hotel. The shower cubicle was small and may not be easily manoeuvrable for someone on the larger side. There is a supermarket across the road and lots of options for food and drink within walking distance. The old town is approx. 20 mins walk and the old part of Sachsenhausen about 30 mins walk. We have taken into account the outside noise in rating this hotel ~ looking at other reviews, hopefully this just relates to the room we stayed in.
The stay was very comfortable. They gave me an early checkin (a smaller room initially, and then to my booked room when it was available later in the day). The staff are very friendly and assist you on your needs. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the main station which is very convenient. The restaurant too serves good breakfast and other meals, with a comfortable seating area alongside.
good value for money hotel for overnight stay in frankfurt. next to railway station. very dated, but good value for money. stayed there several times, however this time it was nearly 40 degrees in frankfurt ! and the hotel doesnt have air-conditioning , so it was tough.... otherwise in the normal circumstances fine for a 1 night stay
We stayed at this hotel for one night, the room was lovely, very spacious. Everything was very clean and the bed was really comfy. The room was very quiet, despite there being a festival/street party happening outside. The location is great, very close to train station and a very easy walk to shopping area / main tower etc. Several bars / eateries on the street and at the station. All in all, a great stay - would definitely recommend!
Very fantastic staff who were extremely helpful. Room was nice and was very comfortable. Very short walk from Munchen HBF train station. 4-5 parks within a short walk that were extremely well cared for.
