"Cuando llegamos no teniamos habitación. Las tenian todas ocupadas. Tubimos q irnos a otro hotel. No hicieron caso a la reserva de expedia. Parece ser q lo suelen hacerlo muy amenudo. No reserven no cumplen. Llegas a Santa Catalina y te encuentras sin hotel."

"We had an amazing stay. It was low season, so the hotel was not that crowded. The service of the staff was beyond my expectations. We included the breakfasts on our reservation and all options I had for the three days were awesome. Best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. The room was comfy, I knew we were just coming back to sleep as we had many day trips booked. I fully recomend staying here, the cabanas were so beautiful."

"I was traveling with my teen daughter and we stayed here for two nights. The property is located a few stair steps down to the beach. Very quiet. Very homy relaxing atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. They have a restoran on the site and serve delicious freshly made food for a reasonable price. We rent two queen bed room with a big furnished terrace overlooking ocean and the pool. Room was clean, spacious with good wifi reception and big tv. Chanals and Netflix available. It is a family buisness definitely dedicated to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property is just 15 min. of safe walk at any time to more restorants and buisness. It is hard to find such a property for that price in this area. We would definitely come back here."

"Great house in the Santa Catalina area, with privacy and an awesome property. The owners were so nice, and they conveniently arranged some horses for us to horseback ride on their property and at the nearby beach, which was fantastic. Great conversation with them as well, they were both very friendly and helpful. The beach was conveniently located, and we were able to walk down to a restaurant 5 minutes away. The pool was also perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!"

The wild beach nearby made it feel like we had our own private paradise. It’s the kind of place where you can really slow down and reconnect.Brett, the host, was an absolute gem. He greeted us in person when we arrived and was so friendly and welcoming. He gave us loads of great local tips and really made us feel looked after. His team was just as wonderful — everyone we met was kind, helpful, and genuinely seemed happy to be working there. It says a lot about the kind of environment Brett has created, and it added such a nice, relaxed energy to our whole stay.Our kids absolutely adored Brett — our 5-year-old is still talking about him, and our 10-year-old said she wants to come back one day to work with him and help take care of the animals!It’s rare to find a place that feels this genuine, peaceful, and memorable all at once. hank you, Brett (and your amazing team!), for creating such a special place and sharing it with us!"

"The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain."
