"Spent two nights here breaking the journey from Cusco to La Paz. Friendly family-run place a minute or two from the Plaza de Armas, banks, restaurants etc. clean, comfortable rooms with hot water and strong wifi. Recommended, and would stay again."

Close to the main plaza and the main thoroughfare with all kinds of shops and restaurants, the hotel is super convenient to all that Puna has to offer. My room was clean and comfortable, and the spacious bathroom was particularly noteworthy (hot showers are sometimes hard to find in Peru!). Everyone at the front desk was incredibly helpful -- food recommendations, arranging tours, facilitating laundry services, etc. The breakfast buffet was a highlight -- lots of freshly-prepared options to start your day on a good note. If I ever return to Puno, I won't need to do a search for accommodations -- the Hotel Balsa Inn will be my first and only reliable choice."
