Welcome to River Lodge — a peaceful retreat where the jungle meets the soothing flow of the Uvita River. Wake up to the calls of toucans and the gentle sound of rushing water, all while staying just a few steps from cafés, restaurants, and everything Uvita has to offer. Free optical internet at speed above 60 mbps. The beach is only a 20-minute walk away, and the main bus station is just five minutes on foot, making a car optional. For those who prefer to drive, free parking is available.

My partner and I stayed at this rental for nearly 3 weeks. Our time there was spectacular and was a main factor in our Costa Rican trip being so enjoyable. The kitchen was perfect in preparing our daily meals, we enjoyed mornings and evening out on the patio; doing yoga or chatting. It was lovely to be able to walk down to the river and take a moment to cool down in the hot midday sun. The host Oldrich was super helpful and guided us to trips and amenities in the surrounding area. This rental is the perfect balance of privacy and proximity in Uvita; you can spend the day watching Toucans and parrots in the trees outside your patio, or walk down to the beach, through shops and restaurants, and return home safely on foot at the end of your day. Highly recommended.
