"This is supposed to be a super host as we only go to those that are. But this is a super duper host!! Alda is in a category of her own. We have so many great things to say about her. One example, my wife needed to see a doctor. I told Alda, and a few minutes later, we had the doctor knocking on our door!! She made us feel so welcome, helped us with the bags. Gave us lemons from her trees. Thanks Alda, we will miss you!"

"Perfect. Giuseppe was available to answer any and all questions. He even gave us a ride to the top of the hill for Lunch, when we arrived too early to check in. "We loved the quaint, antique (ceiling beams), and fully supplied nature of the vrbo. The windows open to a view of the hills around Pennabilli. Be prepared for some sporty driving to get there! The location is remote, which made it even more beautiful. There are good local caffès, close restaurants (we ate near Lago Verde), and plenty to see for a multi-day stay."

"t was the best place I have stayed at for a long time. The owner made me feel very welcome and answered a query I had before I left Scotland very quickly. The location was superb, peaceful and photogenic. I had the whole place to myself and ate al fresco and took a swim in the pool. I arrived by foot the owner let me borrow a bike for the duration, this was very handy for me to ride to the train station and back. "

"If you like site seeing is excellent but you need a car to see the villages and the towns. The road is a dirt road with a lot of dust, the property is in excellent shape and Antonella is fantastic. Excellent location to go anywhere from Vicchio train station only a few minutes from Gattaia where the property is located."

"We had a brilliant stay with communication leading up to the holiday being excellent. Azzurra is such a lovely woman, very helpful and provided a beautiful house for us to stay in with everything you would ever need. Hairdryer, washing machine, dryer, iron & board, everything. "Our stay at Florence Hills and Resort was great! Service was amazing, all staff was very attentive. Nice pool size and outdoor lounging and seating area to relax after walking around Florence. The suite was comfortable and very clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. "We loved this hotel. We rented a Junior Suite which was basically a one bedroom apartment with a spacious combined living/dining room. The bathroom was also very spacious. While there, we took full advantage of the in house laundry room. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our only problem was with the housekeeping staff on a Sunday who never came to our room. Luckily we found the duty manager who was cleaning rooms on another floor who was very nice and gave us towels. This property is very close to the historic old town and main sites and museums. There are ample good restaurants in the area as well as market with one being ten steps away from the main entrance. "
