"I’ve stayed at this beautiful cottage before. That fact alone speaks for itself. The weather was surprisingly good actually … (the forecast wasn’t). I did feel that it was a shame that the planting near the cottage was pretty imposing, (it was nothing like that when I was last there). I do understand that it’s possibly there to ‘break’ the winds etc; but the beautiful views across the sea had, pretty much been obliterated. Thank you for the bottle of ‘red’. Nigel."

"Had a lovely relaxing 4 night stay in North Light studio as a solo traveller with a dog. We had everything to make our stay comfortable including the complimentary North Uist distillery gin miniatures and Hebridean oatcakes, much appreciated. Weather mixed but we had a beautiful sunset viewed from the front of the studio. I’d highly recommend this stunning studio. Linda & Brora 🐶"

"Nice, simple, clean room in Benbecula, South Uist. The innkeeper was very welcoming and friendly. There is a nice hotel restaurant a short walk away from the Hebridian Stay. We would stay here again the next time we visit south/north Uist."

"The hosts Alex and Katie are a young couple doing a great job running this small boutique hotel! It is is older building however it is well kept up and clean. The rooms are comfortable and provide all necessary amenities. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a fantastic time in the Outer Hebrides and that was due in part to the wonderful accommodation at Gramsdale House! Peggy, was waiting for us when we arrived and gave us a walk through of all the house features and how everything worked. She was available throughout our stay via phone, or WhatsAp and super responsive. The location was perfect and the views from the conservatory (sun room) and deck were stunning. All the amenities necessary were there and the closeness to restaurants and other services was excellent, too! Gramsdale House is highly recommended if you're planning an outing o this part of the Outer Hebrides!"

"Lovely cottage - warm , cosy , well equipped and very clean Owner friendly and helpful as was cleaner who also popped round to check all was well with the cottage North Uist has few amenities and everything is a long drive away on narrow roads - hence average score for location and local amenities"
