"Super easy check in, a great place to rest quick after seeing Sequoia! Not a huge space but enough for my boyfriend and I for a night. Walls are thin so if you are a light sleeper, be aware of that. Otherwise, great spot to spend the night!"

"The location of this adorable little Motel was absolutely perfect after a very long hiking day in Kings Canyon National Park. I loved the combination of rustic chic decor in the room. The location is beautiful and near one of the best pizza places I've ever been to. We had a fridge, microwave, coffee, and an AC unit that worked great. Very nice bathroom, too. "Some minor issues in the room; weird ceiling fan going on by itself unexpectedly, carpet with some odd small stains, blinds up high on a window unable to be reached to be closed, lighting fairly dim even with all lights on. Food was decent, nothing fabulous. Even for a rustic setting indoor lighting was fairly dim in main lodge eating area. Knew this going in (albeit kind of after the fact); road to get into property was not great and would have been a tad scary had we or any guests arrived after dark. Overall; excellent location between the two parks and nice piece of property, but probably could use an infusion of cash again to revitalize it. Not many choices to be in a similar location but price was too high given all that was previously stated. Doubtful that my wife and I would stay here again, but that's not to say it was a negative experience"
