"I would not stay here again. While the hotel advertises itself as the oldest hotel in Juneau, its age really shows, and the property is in serious need of refurbishment and updating. the headboards and phone had a thick layer of dust! One of the biggest issues was the noise. The bar downstairs played extremely loud music until 1:00 a.m. every night, and even noise-canceling headphones did not block it out. Getting a good night’s sleep was nearly impossible. There is also no elevator, so guests staying on the second or third floors must carry heavy luggage up multiple flights of stairs. The room heating was provided by a small plug-in radiant heater, and the “air conditioning” was simply a fan. In addition, the front desk was often unattended, making check-in and getting assistance inconvenient. There is no airport shuttle service available, so we had to arrange and pay for a taxi ourselves. Overall, the listing did not accurately match our expectations, and I believe there are much better hotel options available in Juneau."

"My wife and I had a great time in Juneau staying at Baked Alaska. All was as advertised with no surprises. While I do recommend having personal transportation to get around, it is really quite close (within 15 minutes driving) of virtually everything you might want to see in the Juneau area. The unit itself was modern and up to date and clean. They provided great directions for the initial arrival which I really appreciate. (Having had to scramble with other rentals at other times) Anyway, these instructions were detailed and accurate. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely stay there again should we be in the area."

"Had issues with room. Spit alls in the bathroom woke up to bites all over me. Reported the issue to the front desk in the morning and she said she would have the manager contact me she did and said she would refund me and said she had pest control check and found no signs of bed bugs. I don't believe her at all. Never received a refund from here called the hotel and she acted like she didn't know me. I have left two messages with no call back.originally booked through Expedia and they couldn't help because I paid at the hotel. Avoid this place. Pay for a better hotel and save yourself the headache. "
