"Great place to spend the night! Clean and comfortable."

"We enjoyed our stay; nice, clean, convenient. One awkward side note, though: We stayed at the far end of the hallway and parked our car at that end of the building, thinking that we'd use the door on that end to transfer our belongings. Using that door turned out to be a little weird, though, because there's a chair and ashtray next to the door for smokers to congregate. Each time we wanted to access the door (5 PM, , 7 PM, 6:30 AM!), one or more smokers were hanging out there. It'd be great if that setup was a bit farther away from access door, so we wouldn't feel the need to excuse ourselves to get in and out."

"Not Pet Friendly. Pet charges & Deposit are 1 thing, but then to put us in the worst room in the hotel when it appears the place is half empty, colored our entire stay. When asked to change, told it was the "last pet room"-we didn't see any other pets while there. We were next to the rear door of the property & along the back alley. Commercial trucks going through the alley, as it seems to be a place the truck drivers stay. Our dogs are well trained (attending an agility trial) & quiet, unlike the humans with children outside our window. Window did not block any noise. The air conditioner blew directly onto the bed & direction could not be altered. The property has some updates but they were done poorly: missing moldings, paint on frames of wall art, interior courtyard nice but not cared for-Dog got a hold of chicken bone thrown into the high grass. Breakfast had great variety but eggs burnt on the bottom. The staff was kind & professional-the best part of our stay. I would not recommend if traveling with pets. Otherwise fair value."

"Location. Location. Location. been coming out to Durango, CO for over 10 years. Walking distance to downtown was ideal. A few blocks over from the main drag. It is an older best western. Rooms were a little dark, and dated. Hotel pool in middle of property. Hotel is next to the Durango train station. They did have complimentary drinks in the evenings."

10/10 Excellent

"Our room was very spacious and clean! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants to eat at. The free morning breakfast was pretty good! Parking was plentiful. Hotel is not in the heart of downtown/uptown but we didn't mind that. It's a less then five minute drive."
