The hotel is conveiniently located on the upscale Liberdade avenue with many of the Lisbon attractions located within walking distance. We found all the staff to be friendly and forthcoming. Special thanks to Ines (inez?) at the front desk for helping to pay my parking ticket using her personal phone. The included breakfast was good and offered a wide variety of treats. Our room was nice with two fairly large windows facing the lively street but without letting in any noise.
We thought that the interior was a bit too dark with so much black color being applied everywhere.
We would stay at 138 Liberdade again.
